This notice explains what happens to personal information you send to Elin Wyn through this website. It was last updated on 8 August 2026.
Who is responsible for your information
Elin Wyn, trading as Elin Wyn Personal Trainer, of The Pontcanna Gym, Ryder Street, Pontcanna, Cardiff, CF11 9BR, is the data controller. You can reach me at elinwyn@gmail.com.
What this website collects
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you.
The only information collected is what you type into the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject you select
- your message
Nothing else is gathered. There is no account to create and no newsletter sign-up.
Why, and on what basis
Your details are used for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing me.
Who else sees it
The contact form is delivered by Formspree, which passes the message on to my inbox. Formspree acts as a processor on my behalf. My email is hosted by Google. Neither uses your enquiry for their own purposes.
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for 90 days and then deleted, unless you go on to become a client — in which case your contact details are retained for as long as I am providing training to you, and for six years afterwards where tax and insurance records require it.
Where it is stored
Formspree and Google both operate servers outside the UK. Where information is transferred abroad, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place for international transfers under UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of the information I hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- restrict or object to how it is used
- transfer it to someone else
Email elinwyn@gmail.com and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Links to other websites
This site links to Google Maps, Google reviews and Instagram. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
